Plus, the lovely atmosphere and staff made every bite even sweeter. The grounds are stunning, with a picturesque creek and gorgeous porch. Speaking of convenience, the attached restaurant was perfect after a long drive.

Driving around is a bit of a cringe fest with the wonky roads and poor lighting. We had a mix-up with keys and room service was an uphill battle, compounded by missing basics like robes and a broken toilet handle. Little details, like dirty glass tops and random keys, just felt off.

I recently stayed for one night in a King Room and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decor and spacious layout. The fireplace and jacuzzi tub were a perfect touch for relaxation, especially after a long day. The staff were very friendly and recommended an on-site restaurant that served some of the best comfort food I’ve had in a while. I would have appreciated more attention to room cleanliness, as there were a few dust spots noticeable.
